Core Duties

• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Material planning and forecasting
• Management of all shipping import and
• export activities
• Management of the supply chain team

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends and historical data to accurately predict customer demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Procurement Management: Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
• Logistics Planning: Coordinate transportation and warehousing activities to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to address issues and optimize performance.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures throughout the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
• Experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Procurement Manager preferably in the cosmetics industry
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
• Strong communication skills with all stakeholders (verbal and written)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience in managing import and exports activities and freight forwarding
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft 365 Business Central beneficial)
