Addendum No.1 of April 2025
The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries published an Invitation of Bids/ Advert for Supply and Delivery of Selected Complete Units of Assorted Four-wheel Drive Farm Tractors, Implements and Accessories under National Oil Seed Project on 6th March 2025 as detailed below.
a) Supply and delivery of Thirty (30) selected complete units of Assorted Four-wheel Drive Farm Tractors, Implements, and Accessories of Capacity (45-50) Hp @ rated rpm (Lot One)
b) Supply and delivery of One Hundred Twenty (120) selected complete units of Assorted Four-wheel Drive Farm Tractors, Implements, and Accessories of Capacity (75-80) Hp @ rated rpm (Lot Two)
c) Supply and delivery of Fifty (50) selected complete units of Assorted Four-wheel Drive Farm Tractors, Implements, and Accessories of Capacity (90 - 95) Hp @ rated rpm (Lot 3)
This is to inform all the prospective bidders that the Technical Specifications for all the lots (a-c) above have been revised. Bidders can access the revised Technical Specifications on the link below. The rest of the contents of the bidding document remain unchanged.
The submission deadline has been extended to Thursday, 8th May, 2025

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) is the government body responsible for formulating and implementing policies and programs to enhance agricultural productivity, animal industry development, and fisheries management in Uganda. The National Oilseeds Project (NOSP) is a key initiative aimed at boosting the production and processing of oilseeds to improve farmers' livelihoods and contribute to national food security.

This tender invites qualified suppliers to provide Four-wheel Drive Farm Tractors, Implements, and Accessories to support mechanized farming under the NOSP. The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for:
• Timely delivery of high-quality, durable tractors and implements as per the revised technical specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and certifications for agricultural machinery.
• Providing after-sales support, including training for operators and maintenance services.
• Adhering to ethical procurement practices and transparency throughout the bidding process.
