About EACOP
EACOP is a 1,443km crude oil export pipeline that will transport Uganda’s crude oil from Kabaale – Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula near Tanga port in Tanzania. Worley will support EACOP partners led by international French company TotalEnergies, through the execution and delivery of the project.
Job Brief/ Duties and Responsibilities
Job Brief.
The Supervisor ICS is responsible for coordinating the day to day general construction activities of the Epcmc Staff and contractors for the installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, telecoms infrastructure, HVAC and security systems within the AGI,MST facilities and along the pipelines.
Role and Responsibilities.
• Directly supporting the EPcmC staff & the CONTRACTORs ensuring delivery of the Pipeline and
• Assist construction manager to execute and monitor telecom and security cables installation and testing.
• Supervise the Instrumentation certification and installation works including field hook-ups, cabling, terminations, and testing.
• Perform system line check, field instrument checks and certification.
• Experience in trouble shooting of E&I system/program.
• Perform calibration, functional check, Loop check and respective testing.
• Working knowledge of regulations and credentials required to perform Instrumentation calibration and certification.
• Ensure ITP compliant and document compilation.
• Experience in managing and coordinating with other utilities and services.
• Ensure materials and installation compliance to specifications.
• Constant in-situ field inspection to ensure quality of works deliver.
• Review method statement of works.
• Perform FAT and SAT inspection.
• Perform system walk-down, line check and punch-listing.
• Trouble - shooting and clearing of all punch item and closure.
• Experience in pre-COM and COM as well as validation of respective system.
• Close coordination with other project team/trade members.
• Review and interpret drawing/shop drawing.
• Manage sub-contractors and monitor progress and reporting.
• Handle walk-down, punch-listing, clearing and closure.
• Interface and coordinating with client representative.
• Ensure all completed work documentation and as - builts/ acceptance/test results documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications / Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, telecom Engineering
• 8 years’ experience of E&I working within a cross-functional Oil & Gas pipeline project

• Demonstrated knowledge of compliance, risk controls and site HSE requirements

• A full knowledge of project specific execution strategies, and the ability to develop them to meet challenging project objectives and deliverables.
• An ‘Incident Free’ mind-set and be a role model for their project team (Direct/Indirect hires).
• A proven HSSE and QA/QC leadership in managing and delivering large complex onshore oil & gas projects.
• A full understanding of how all elements of the project scope integrate and interface with each other and are managed to successfully deliver the right project outcome - from construction, and through to commissioning and handover, to operations.
• A high focus on identifying and delivering the identified deliverables, which meet project expectations from a quality and performance perspective, with minimal integration challenges to current operations.
• An excellent teamwork skill being able to work with the various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interests of the integrated project team.
• An ability to work effectively in a diverse, multi - disciplinary team environment, including Interface management experience, within facilities, and across other functions.
