JOB DETAILS:

The Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the service area, overseeing staff, managing customer service, and maintaining standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters, waitresses, cashiers, and baristas.
  • Greet guests, handle reservations, and manage table seating.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure all staff adhere to service protocols.
  • Open and close the establishment, handle cash reconciliations, and prepare daily sales reports.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and provide ongoing training and guidance to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in a supervisory role within a restaurant or cafe.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems.
