JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The Studio Technical Operator SPARK is responsible for handling technical operations in the studio, including lighting, audio, and graphics systems, to ensure smooth broadcasts.
Main Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage SPARK systems for live and recorded broadcasts.
• Ensure all studio equipment, including lighting, cameras, and sound systems, is set up and functioning correctly.
• Work closely with producers and directors to deliver technically seamless programs.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during broadcasts and minimize downtime.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of studio equipment.
• Implement improvements to enhance studio efficiency and technical quality.
• Support live broadcasts by handling graphics, playback systems, and technical coordination.
• Maintain technical logs and reports on equipment usage and performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic: Diploma or Degree in Broadcast Technology, Media Production, or Electronics.
• Professional: Certification in Studio Operations or Technical Systems.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in studio operations or technical support.
Core Competencies:
• Proficiency in SPARK systems and studio equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, live-production environments.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Technical understanding of lighting, sound, and broadcast systems.
