JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary: The Stock Controller is responsible for control and management of inventory in compliance with the inventory management processes and procedures. He or she will monitor stock levels, track stock movements and ensure accuracy of stock records.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory visibility, integrity and accuracy through accurate cycle count and physical reconciliation of Inventory against SAP ERP system in all storage locations as well as root cause analysis and reporting on any stock differences.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
• Ensure accurate receipt of material in stock transfer orders received or dispatched to/from other plants
• Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
• Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular cycle stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures and escalating arising issues
• Monitor and track slow-moving or obsolete stock and propose appropriate actions, such as promotional activities or write-offs, to minimize financial losses.
• Generate accurate reports on stock levels, stock movements, and stock valuation on a regular basis for management review.
• Continuously improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize stock availability.
• Prepare and conduct monthly stock take as per policy
• Perform other Records Management duties as specified by management

• Making sure that Office assets & equipment are efficiently used
• Making sure inventory losses (damages, theft) are kept within set limits
Procurement responsibility
• As per operational requirements
Working conditions
• Working environment requires that the holder to wear PPEs for safety reasons.
• Office bound / on-site / travel/ May be required to travel
• The company may choose to relocate to holder to branches or other sister offices as and when needed
• Willing to work extended hours to accomplish job roles
Qualifications required:
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance & Accounting, Business Administration or relevant field.
• Professional Qualifications as an added advantage:
• General work experience (years): 5 years in a manufacturing and consumer-based environment
• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Working knowledge of inventory management software (SAP)
