Job Description/Requirements

THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

  • To monitor the stock movement of gas, cylinder and accessories.
  • To reconcile with all points of sales and monitor the stock movement and report if there is any discrepancy.

JOB DESCRIPTION  FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Checking stock levels daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock.
  • Updating stock information on computer system daily.
  • Comparing items received against items ordered.
  • Implementing or improving processes and procedures of stock controlling.
  • Maintaining records of pricing, Purchases and other relevant information.
  • Performing stock random checks and audits.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of administrative office, cylinder and accessories.
  • Maintaining clients/contracts list database with updated all the time.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, binding, scanning etc.
  • Properly controlling all stock movements of gas, cylinders and accessories.
  • Ensuring the layout of stockroom, warehouse, considering turnover size, weight and related factors of items stored.
  • Maintain all stock related paperwork to meet audit requirements.
  • Provide daily and weekly stock accounting and documentation, but you will likely also participate in formal periodic inventory audits.
  • Work with sales teams in offloading and loading of cylinders, accessories in and out of the warehouse or trucks. The job involves manual work of lifting cylinders.
  • Producing daily reports on stock movement and send to Business accountant and Sales and Operations Manager.
  • Reconciling stock with shops to match with the book value maintained in the system.
  • Conduct physical stock tacking in all points of sales and reconcile with the stock issued, sales mode and report immediately if there is any discrepancy.
  • Take maximum care of all Company asset allocated to the position and repot on any damage, theft, loss, discrepancies to the line Manager on its occurrence.
  • Comply as per HSSE practices.
  • Comply as per Company’s policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Any other office related duties as may be assigned by the Superiors from time to time.

  • Checked stock levels all the time.
  • Documented and updated stock all the time.
  • In place improved processes and procedures of stock controlling.
  • Maintained records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information.
  • Maintained clients/contracts list database with updated all the time.
  • Controlled all stock movements of gas, cylinders and accessories.
  • Ensuring the layout of stockroom, warehouse, considering turnover size, weight and related factors of items stored.
  • Reconciled stock both paper work and in the system.
  • Complied with HSSE practices.
  • Complied with Company’s policies, procedures, and standards.

SPECIFIC SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND/OR EXPERIENCES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Procurement and logistics management/Business administration/ accounting or any Business related.
  • Minimum 02 years’ experience in stock Management field.
  • Excellent communication in English both oral and written.
  • Strong computer skills especially with excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Accounting package especially in Tally is mostly preferable.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and strong time-management skills.
  • Detail oriented, self-starter with a resourceful attitude.
  • Well-articulated and organized.
  • Provide high level customers care services.
  • Should be dedicated and hardworking.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Should be a person of high integrity, team player, and self-initiative with self-supervision.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
  • Flexibility and ready to work under high pressure.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays.
