JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Job
To provide secretarial and office managerial services.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Attending to the visitors of the Department.
- Handling the office petty cash
- Ensuring proper filing of all official documents.
- Attending to telephone calls in the office.
- Handling secretarial work for the office.
- Ensuring a smooth general management of the office.
- Updating and keeping the Head of Department`s diary schedules.
- Performing any other duties delegated by the Head of Department.
Key Outputs
- Visitors attended to.
- Office petty cash handled and accounted for.
- Proper filing of official documents done.
- Telephone calls attended to.
- Secretarial work done.
- Departmental dairy updated and kept
Requirements
Person Specification
- Must have a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a recognised awarding Institution.
- Must have proven computer literacy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good public relations and customer care
- Effective time management
- Concern for quality and standards
- Age Limit: Not above 55 years old at the time of application.

6. Prepare for the Interview (If Shortlisted)
- If selected, you will receive an email notification with interview details. - Research the university and the job role. - Practice common interview questions. - Dress professionally and be punctual.
7. Accept the Job Offer
- If you pass the interview, you will receive a job offer email. - Review the contract and salary details. - Accept the offer and follow the onboarding instructions.
