JOB DETAILS:

Purpose of the Job

To provide secretarial and office managerial services.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Attending to the visitors of the Department.
    • Handling the office petty cash
    • Ensuring proper filing of all official documents.
    • Attending to telephone calls in the office.
    • Handling secretarial work for the office.
    • Ensuring a smooth general management of the office.
    • Updating and keeping the Head of Department`s diary schedules.
    • Performing any other duties delegated by the Head of Department.

  • Visitors attended to.
  • Office petty cash handled and accounted for.
  • Proper filing of official documents done.
  • Telephone calls attended to.
  • Secretarial work done.
  • Departmental dairy updated and kept

Requirements

Person Specification

  • Must have a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from a recognised awarding Institution.
  • Must have proven computer literacy
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good public relations and customer care
  • Effective time management
  • Concern for quality and standards
  • Age Limit: Not above 55 years old at the time of application.
