Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Spare Parts manager to oversee our spare parts department and drive sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient order processing, selling spare parts, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive parts, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with suppliers and customers.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies.
- Sell spare parts to customers, identifying their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding spare parts.
- Monitor and analyse sales trends to forecast future inventory needs and identify sales opportunities.
- Supervise and train staff in the spare parts department.
- Maintain records of all transactions, orders, and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business administration, automotive engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Spare Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management.
- Proven sales experience and a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
