JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations. They will step in for the Head Chef in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Train and mentor kitchen team members on techniques and standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Enforce hygiene and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
