Job Summary:
The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing the bakery’s social media platforms, creating engaging content, building brand awareness, and driving customer engagement and sales. This role combines creativity, marketing strategy, and analytics to grow the bakery’s online presence and attract new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, etc.) to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Create engaging, high-quality content, including photos, videos, graphics, and posts to showcase bakery products.
- Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, promotions, and contests to drive sales.
- Monitor social media trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Track, analyse, and report on social media metrics and campaign performance to inform strategy.
- Work with the sales and operations team to promote new products and special offers.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries, and maintain a positive brand image online.
- Assist in generating leads and converting online engagement into foot traffic or orders.
- Coordinate with photographers, graphic designers, and other creative resources as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills are an added advantage.
