Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing structural works on the Project
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage the planning and design stages of the projects.
• Perform due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.
• Oversee all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
• Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures for upgrades.
• Design and recommend improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.
• Perform cost estimations and prepare project budgets.
• Prepare work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
• Ensure that project works are completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect completed works for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
• Document processes and present project progress updates to senior managers and clients.
Qualifications Skills & Experience.
• Degree or Diploma in civil engineering or in a related field.
• At least 15 years of proven work experience overseeing construction projects with experience in Earthworks, Infrastructure and Concrete structures.
• Professional knowledge in Civil construction management, rehabilitation and urban and regional planning.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
