Background

We are looking for Ugandan Sign Language Interpreters permanently based in any of the following districts.

Kampala, Jinja, Mbale, Kapchorwa, Tororo, Soroti, Gulu, Lira, Arua, Adjumani, Mbarara, Kabale, Kasese, Fort Portal, Hoima, Moroto.

Responsibilities

Facilitate communication between deaf individuals and hearing individuals in various settings.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Ugandan Sign Language.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Previous experience as a sign language interpreter is an advantage.
