JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Disability Studies; or Humanities; or Sign Language from a recognized University/Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Rehabilitation Officer for performing the following duties:-

-        Offering sign language interpretation services;

-        Capacity building in sign Language skills among staff and key stake holders;

-        Guiding on development and implementation of technologies to improve access to information by persons with hearing impairments;

-        Supporting disability inclusion initiatives for meaningful inclusion of persons with Disabilities.;

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
