JOB ADVERT SENIOR SOLAR SALES EXECUTIVE (3)
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Job Type: Full-Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sales Strategy Development: able to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets for solar products, Identify and target po- tential customers in both urban and rural areas.
• Customer Relationship Management: Should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Product Knowledge and Training: should be able to stay updated on the latest solar products and technologies.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the solar industry, to analyze competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Credit Sales Management: to develop and manage credit sales programs to ensure timely payments and minimize defaults, should be able to work closely with the finance team to assess customer creditworthiness.
• Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase product awareness and sales, participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events. with the finance team to assess customer credit- worthiness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a re- lated field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar industry.
SKILLS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of credit sales processes and financial management.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Language: Proficiency in English and local languages. Travel: Willingness to travel within Uganda as required.
