Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. As a Senior Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with clients, and mentoring junior sales staff to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives. Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients and maintain a consistent and sustainable level of sales activity.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with key clients. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation. Qualify leads and convert them into active customers.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and pricing negotiations. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clients.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior sales team members. Share best practices and assist in training and developing the team to enhance their sales performance.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, including setting and monitoring individual sales targets. Provide regular updates to management regarding sales progress and challenges.
- Market Analysis & Feedback: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Share valuable insights with the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings.
- Customer Service: Address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in sales or business development are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies, with experience in lead generation, qualification, and closing.
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of sales professionals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Fintech industry is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
