JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The job holder will be accountable and responsible for overseeing regional responsibility at Kampala Head Office as well as all Regional Managers and staff that work within each region. He/she will totally be responsible for operational excellence as well as oversee the sales governance process.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Setting regional goals and objectives, and implementing effective strategies to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensures that the operations team comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Oversee head office and regional responsibilities which include guiding the activities of several regional managers with the core objective to maintain and grow the retailer base that sells lottery games.
• Lead in the implementation and execution of Merchandising and brand visibility regionally
• Maintain regional operations staff retention and motivation through regular reviews of performance of Field Agents and Regional Administrators.
• Ensure best practices training regional staff and retailers to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Educate consumers about different lottery games, prizes, and promotions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential consumers, ensuring a positive brand experience.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
• Keep up-to-date with all lottery games, policies and regulatory requirements as per licence agreement.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders, cross functional personnel, as well as industry partners.
• Oversee all aspects of building functions and ensure safety and functionality of all facilities.
• Fleet and warehouse management.
• Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the immediate line manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Masters’ degree in a business-related course is preferable
• Bachelors’ degree in marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or any other related field
• 7 years of relevant work experience in sales and distribution within a service industry
• Prior experience in sales analytics within FMCG industry
• Good knowledge of sales and retail industry trends, best practice in retail outlets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Power point skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Exemplary Planning and Time Management skills
• Strong business acumen
• Leadership Skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Possess a valid driver’s license with driving experience of more than two years
