Qualification Details
• Under graduate Diploma, Diploma in Mental Health

Experience Details
• Must have served for at least three (3) years as a Psychiatric Clinical Officer.

Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
• Treat and manage patients.
• Refer complicated cases.
• Conduct health education to patients.
• Ensure quality assurance in clinical work.
• Initiate and participate in research activities.
• Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.
• Participate in planning, budgeting, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating clinical work.
• Manage and account for allocated resources.
• Promote observance of the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Ministry of Health - Regional Referral Hospitals (MoH - RRHS), Moroto RRH,

Arua RRH and Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (UBTS).

a) Academic and professional certificates (UCE, UACE, Professional Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees, Fellowships).
b) Evidence of training in specialized areas where applicable.
c) Letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion where applicable.
d) Registration certificates and valid practicing licenses for health workers who are required by law to register with relevant Professional Councils.
e) National and current Institutional Identity Cards.
f) Priority should be given to uploading only the relevant documents in the job specifications.
