Action 4 Health Uganda (A4HU) is a Ugandan non-profit NGO that empowers young people to develop their full potential in life. A4HU runs SRHR, economic empowerment, and leadership development programs for young people in various districts of Uganda.
A4HU is recruting for two open positions; a Senior Project Officer/Gender Focal Person and a Project Officer/Driver.

Senior Project Officer, Gender
Roles:
• Oversee and ensure proper implementation of the Social and Economic Empowerment (SEEP) project in line with the grant agreement, organizational guidelines, and any other relevant terms and conditions.
• Develop and implement a clear gender and SRHR mainstreaming agenda for the SEEP project; including a gender sensitive monitoring framework.
• Develop the capacity of A4HU supported Youth Clubs, Youth Empowerment Centers, youth networks and partner organizations in Gender and SRHR programming.
• Serve as the Gender Focal person for A4HU; ensuring comprehensive gender mainstreaming in all organizational programs, and building the capacity of all A4HU teams in gender mainstreaming.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Gender Studies or closely related field.
• Training in SRHR.
• Training in Project Management.
• At least 3 years’ experience in gender work in a national or international organisations.
