Job Title : Senior Clinical Officer (HC III)
Salary Scale : U4
Reports To : Principal Medical Officer / Senior Medical Officer (In- Charge HSD)
Responsible for : Clinical Officer,
Senior Nursing officer,
Laboratory Technician,
Records Assistant
Job Purpose
To ensure delivery of effective and efficient health services in the Unit and the lower Health Centers.
Key Outputs
i. Plans and budgets prepared;
ii. Accountability for allocated medical, fiscal and other resources made;
iii. Patients diagnosed and treated;
iv. Functionality of health management information system Supervised;
v. Unit infrastructure and equipments maintained;
vi. Equipment, medicines and other supplies Procured;
vii. Human resource management functions carried out;
viii.Implementation of the Uganda Minimum Health Care Package coordinated;
ix. Technical guidance and support supervision provided;
x. Occupational health and safety committee facilitated;
xi. Reports prepared and submitted; and
xii. Continuous Professional Development programs developed.

i. Planning and budgeting for health services delivery activities in the Health centre;
ii. Managing and accounting for allocated medical, fiscal and other resources;
iii. Diagnosing, treating and managing patients;

Experience Requirements
Education Requirements
Must be registered and licensed with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
Training in management is an added advantage.
