Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with budgetary controls.
2. Prepare periodic financial reports and statements for the district.
3. Monitor the implementation of financial policies and procedures.
4. Supervise junior staff in the finance department and provide mentorship.
5. Conduct regular financial reconciliations and ensure proper management of accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized institution.
2. Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA are an added advantage.
3. At least 3 years of experience in public finance management.
4. Proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
