We are looking for someone meticulous, detail-oriented, and flexible. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the projects team to provide accounting and operational support on projects.

Job tasks will include:
Core task – Provide overall leadership for all project finances and administration aspects, including project personnel.

Tasks
• Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies for the firm and its clients.
• Conduct financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
Develop financial plans and oversee financial budgeting and forecasting for the various projects.
• Manage the treasury aspects of the projects including disbursement of funds.
• Ensure proper financial reporting in line with Donor Requirements and Other Stakeholders.
• Support audits and agreed-upon procedures as needed. This will include but is not limited to providing documentation and drafting responses to audit questions, reviewing incoming grant agreements for their financial requirements to provide advice on their application, feasibility, and practical implementation.
Ensure fiscal responsibility in all budgets and spending, finding areas for cost savings and increased resourcefulness.
• Oversee financial assistants and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.
• Working closely with the management team to monitor operational data which impacts the financial results. Gathering insights on financial data and making suggestions to improve financial performance, strategic planning, and execution.
Create and maintain relationships with service providers, contractors, and financiers.

You must have:
• A degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting from a recognized University.
• Must be a full member of CPA or ACCA.
• Minimum working experience of 7 years in financial management (or equivalent) and a busy environment.
• People working in Audit firms are encouraged to apply.
• A proven track record of managing the finances of a company.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver on several different project needs.
• Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse working environment and flex style as
• the role requires contact with stakeholders across borders.
• SALARY: 5M NET PAY
