Role Overview
As the Security Supervisor, you will play a critical role in directing our security functions, ensuring the safety of employees and facilities. Your work environment will be dynamic, collaborating closely with a small, dedicated team and reporting to the Human Resource Manager. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who takes initiative and excels in problem-solving.

Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Kampala
- Work Arrangement: On-site
- Reporting Structure: Reports to Human Resource Manager
- Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
2. Assess risks and develop plans to mitigate potential consequences of incidents.

3. Attend meetings and seminars to stay updated on changes affecting security operations.

4. Communicate security statuses and potential problems using established protocols.
5. Coordinate security operations with public law enforcement and other agencies.

6. Create or implement security standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary diploma in Security Management or related fields.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a security role.
- Required Skills: Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and risk management.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in database user interface, spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software.

- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Swahili.

Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences may give candidates an added advantage:
- Experience coordinating security operations with public agencies.
- Ability to create and implement security policies and procedures.
