JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees and all their belongings. Also ensuring that bank assets are securely protected by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all security systems are in good working condition and serviced regularly according to schedules.
• Provide guidance on best practice security standards and solutions and maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations relating to security incidents and manage scenes of crime and liaise with law enforcers and security service providers.
• Conduct physical security risk assessment for Head Office premises.
• Monitor activities of contracted security agencies and review their performance at regular intervals during the contract period.
• Ensure proper management of all keys and alarm systems of CIB Head Office.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Ensure all access points are secure during working hours.
• Support in energy conservation by ensuring office lights are turned off at night when no activity is taking place.
• Provide security for ongoing works on the premises and ensure proper clearance of workers.
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with the role.

Education.

A High school Diploma or its equivalent. A Cadet Course Training is an added advantage.

Experience.

• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a reputable company
• Surveillance and security awareness training background
