Job Summary:

Supports the implementation of physical and personnel security measures to safeguard UNMC operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor company premises and assets
• Enforce security protocols and access control
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Assist in maintaining security logs and incident reports

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)
• Prior experience in security operations or service in the armed forces is an advantage
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Competencies and Skills:

• Vigilant and observant with good physical fitness
• Knowledge of security tools and communication systems
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Team player with integrity

• The Uganda National Mining Company (UNMC) was established under the Mining and Minerals Act, 2022, (Act No. 25 of 2022) and incorporated under the Companies Act 2012, (Act No.1 of 2012). UNMC is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Government of Uganda.
