The Security Coordinator will provide leadership and guidance during all aspects of safeguarding personnel and assets during implementation of company projects such as security plan development, incident response and mitigation. The successful candidate will work closely with the client and company security teams and Government Security Agencies to build strong relationships and address issues and concerns that could affect security of personnel and property.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Facilitate and provide oversight and leadership for security operational activities.
• Supervise security contractors on service delivery including budgeting and developing terms and conditions of contracts.
Lead field-based Emergency Operations activities related to security
Manage an annual security budget for security programs and related funding including security systems and guard services during company operations
• Maintain close relationships with Government Security Agencies in the areas of operations
• Develop and maintain annual revisions/versions of Security procedures and standards
• Facilitate security risk assessments for company operations.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree

Skills and experience
• Five (5) years of experience in security management out of which three (3) years should be in law enforcement or corporate security management
• Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
Knowledge in security and asset policy development, guard force utilization, and physical security applications.
• Results orientation
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and negotiate
• Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships across various groups and organizations both internal and external
• Strong teamwork and facilitation skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Solid understanding of security systems and IT interface
