Wizarts Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization that specializes in communication for development. Information is an important aspect in shaping people’s behavior and attitudes therefore Wizarts Foundation creates and syndicates content that brings about positive social change.

The creation of fresh ideas and development of interesting, educative, captivating content is a pivotal aspect for the organization in the achievement of it’s vision which is “Transforming Media, Impacting Communities.”

We are therefore looking for a young, driven, creative individual that will play the role of developing scripts for the organization under different projects.

Job Duties

• To write scripts for the organization under different projects
• To script and produce the drama segment of the “Our Parliament Radio Magazine”
• To participate in editorial and production meetings

• To research and generate original content ideas that inform and delight our target audiences (youth, women and girls and people with disabilities)
• To simplify complicated topics (think health, politics, laws/bills) into, helpful, and easy-to-consume content.
• To take a lead on online research and translate that information into understandable content written in our brand voice and tone.
• Participate in the development of content on multiple media platforms including newsletters, websites, social media, and training manuals for Wizarts foundation and partners.
• Participate in proposal writing.

Skills/ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in  Mass Communication, Arts in Arts, Music Dance and Drama or its equivalent
• Training in communication, creative writing  or theatre studies will be useful
• Any Publications or blogs are of added advantage
• Social Media skills and presence
• Good command of the English language, fluency in a second language is an added advantage
