JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose

To provide safe, reliable and punctual transportation services for students, staff and school activities in compliance with all traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive school vehicles safely following all traffic laws
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks (tyres, brakes, lights, fluids)
• Maintain accurate log books and mileage records
• Ensure vehicle is clean and mechanically sound
• Plan efficient routes and maintain schedules
• Transport students for field trips and school events
• Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
• Manage emergencies according to school protocol
• Fuel and maintain vehicles as required
• Uphold school's code of conduct while driving

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Class relevant to vehicle)
• Clean driving record (certificate required)
• Minimum 3 years driving experience
• PSV/Taxi driving license (where applicable)
• Defensive driving certificate (preferred)
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills
• First Aid certification
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
• Patient and responsible demeanor
• Must pass medical examination
