Qualifications and Experience:
Must possess a minimum academic qualification of a Diploma in either Commerce, Business Studies/Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized Institution.
Any other training in Accounting is an added advantage
A minimum of three years’ professional experience in a related Field

Duties and Responsibilities/ Job description:
• To implement the school revenue collection and expenditure policies.
• To support the Head teacher, prepare and monitor the implementation of the school annual and termly budget and work plans.
• To design, formulate and implement financial procedures and controls in the School.
• Ensures and supervises preparation of monthly trial balances, termly and annual accounts, balance sheet, school assets inventory and the annual recurrent budgets.
Supervises stores and supplies in the school and supervises Staff and other activities in the finance section.
• Preparation of reviews of fees, salaries, wage and asset operations.
• Makes prompt periodic reports to the Head teacher by providing necessary financial statistics to enable him / her to make informed decisions in executing his/her role as Accounting Officer.
• To ensure that the books of accounts of the school are audited annually.
Assessing bursary applications and regular reviewing of bursaries granted.
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authority.
