Description

Our Client, a leading manufacturer and exporter of hair care and body care products are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team in West Nile, Eastern, Northern & Central Regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors of cosmetic products.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and onboard new retail outlets, distributors, and wholesalers.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
  • Present, promote, and sell the company’s cosmetic products to existing and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, salons, pharmacies, and supermarkets.
  • Provide product training and demonstrations to customers to enhance product knowledge.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure optimal product placement, visibility, and stock availability in retail outlets.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends.
  • Implement promotional activities and trade incentives to boost sales.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts.
  • Adhere to company sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in using sales software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with the Region’s local languages.

Experience needed

At least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, cosmetics
