Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
Sales Representatives:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Regularly visit existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and to introduce new products.
- Identify and target new customers to expand the company’s market reach.
- Actively promote our products, highlighting their quality and freshness.
Market Expansion & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies and promotions.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and product performance to help refine offerings.
Sales Targets & Reporting:
- Meet sales targets on a regular basis.
- Report regular sales detailing performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Monitor and report on customer payment behavior, ensuring timely collection of receivables
Requirements:
Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University
- The minimum level of experience required is 0-1 year of work experience.
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- A results-driven approach with a strong motivation to meet and exceed targets.
Knowledge:
- Good understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Knowledge of the local market and consumer preferences in the retail market
- Good communication skills and can ably communicate in native local languages(Luganda)
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
