Role Overview
As a Sales Person at ECO GROUP (U) LIMITED, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our clients. You will work in a dynamic, hybrid environment alongside a dedicated team of professionals, reporting directly to the Sales Director. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is customer-focused and adaptable, ready to contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch solar solutions.

Position Details

- Location/Work Arrangement: Mukono / Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
• Correspond with customers and collaborate with coworkers to address inquiries and resolve account issues.
• Prepare weekly reports to Sales directors and other internal parties on sales, client list and forecasts

 

 

• Draft sales plans and implement strategies to achieve agreed sales targets.

 

 

• Conduct market research and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections of Solar systems and ensure post-sales follow-ups for repeat orders.
• Identify innovative business strategies and new customer opportunities.
• Manage the bidding process and represent the company during bidding sessions.
• Maintain an organized client database and respond to queries efficiently.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
• Education Requirements: Post-secondary Diploma in Business Studies, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Required Experience: 1-2 years in a sales-related role.
• Mandatory Skills: Active Listening, Time Management, Mathematics, Active Learning, Service.
• Required Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in CRM software, excel, email, and Microsoft Word.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English, Luganda, Swahili, Runyankole (preferred), and Lusoga (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications
• Desired Additional Skills: Critical Thinking, effective communication skills.
• Preferred Experience or Certifications: Customer care certification.
• Additional Technical Knowledge: Understanding of administrative processes.
