Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying potential customers, promoting the company’s products and services, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and approach potential customers to generate new business
  • Promote and sell company products and services to individuals and businesses
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients
  • Follow up on leads and ensure timely closure of sales
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
  • Submit regular sales performance reports to the supervisor
  • Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and field activations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Percentage of monthly sales targets achieved
  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Customer retention rate
  • Revenue generated
  • Timely submission of sales reports
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales or a similar role (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office; CRM systems are an added advantage)
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
