Reporting to Role:

Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose: To drive company sales by prospect sourcing for new clients and increase share of business for existing clients, and grow and improve customer relationships.

Key objectives:

  • To prepare business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of VML products/services.
  • To ensure that the company understands customers’ requirements and provides an efficient, high-quality service.
  • To secure long-term business by maintaining awareness of competitors’ activities, product offers and pricing strategies.
  • Play an integral role in the company’s growth.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/ DELIVERABLES

Sales:

  • Secure business volumes and value in accordance with the MMC annual targets
  • Win and sign up new clients.
  • Make sales pitches and presentations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Participate in preparation of bid documents to win customers.
  • Craft business proposals and contracts for more revenue.
  • Negotiate with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
  • Increase Sales through marketing of Vehicles and ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Research, identify and propose new market opportunities.
  • Suggest upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.

Client Service:

  • Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients and ensure client retention with no exits.
  • Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by VML.
  • Market VML products and maintain quality customer service by taking part in launches, business forums and promotional activities of the Company.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the company.
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  • Review client’s feedback and communicate to the team to implement the necessary changes within a time frame of 3 days.
  • Improve and maintain brand visibility and positioning in the market for effective customer satisfaction.

Monthly Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly sales reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager VML including
  • Remain in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager to identify and manage risks.
  • Report any customer service matters to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Qualifications,

  • A Degree in Business Administration/Studies, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, & Development Economics, International Business, Business Statistics, Sales & Marketing, Public relations, Quantitative Economics and any other relevant/related field.

  • Hands on experience with software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Highly organized and ability to multitask on a number of projects at the same time.

  • Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a plus

Experience:

  • Should have a Marketing and sales back ground in similar field.
  • Should have a minimum of 3 years related experience
