Position Overview:

We seek a results-driven Sales Manager/Service Manager to lead our sales initiatives and ensure exceptional client service delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive revenue growth while maintaining high client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships, optimizing processes, and aligning sales/service strategies with Ubuntu’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

o Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets for Ubuntu’s programs (training, consulting, mentorship).

o Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.

o Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand Ubuntu’s client base. o Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.

2. Service Management:

o Oversee end-to-end client service delivery, ensuring alignment with Ubuntu’s standards and client expectations.

o Implement feedback mechanisms to improve service quality and client retention.

o Resolve client issues promptly, maintaining Ubuntu’s reputation for excellence.

o Collaborate with program teams to enhance service offerings based on client needs.

3. Reporting & Compliance:

o Prepare regular sales and service performance reports for the Deputy CEO.

o Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in sales/service management, preferably in training, consulting, or SME sectors.
    • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
    • Strong knowledge of Uganda’s business landscape and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
