Numida is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a commission-based sales team, drive revenue growth, and oversee field operations. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, optimizing operational strategies, ensuring compliance, and fostering team performance in a mission-driven fintech environment.

Responsibilities

Sales Team Leadership & Target Achievement

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a commission-based sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Set clear sales goals, monitor performance through KPIs, and provide coaching to improve outcomes.
  • Develop strategies to drive consistent revenue growth and market expansion.

Sales Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Design and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and grow the customer base.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.

Route Mapping & Field Operations

  • Oversee route mapping to maximize market coverage and efficiency.
  • Assign sales territories and optimize field strategies to reach target customers.
  • Work with agents to address operational challenges and improve execution.

Fraud Monitoring & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce policies to detect and prevent fraudulent sales activities.
  • Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure integrity within the sales team.
  • Take corrective action against non-compliance and report any incidents to leadership.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within fintech, microfinance, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of managing and motivating commission-based sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience in setting and monitoring sales KPIs.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to develop and enforce fraud prevention measures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in field sales, route planning, and operational strategy is an added advantage.
