Job description:
At ITHUBA Uganda, our sales team is the powerhouse that drives our product offerings and the channels that is used to deliver them to our clients. This role is at the heart of expanding our online player base, onboarding of participating retailers, and B2B partners, and delivering innovative solutions that meet client needs.
The right candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to nurturing client relationships and closing deals that drive revenue growth.
This role demands more than just sales expertise; we are looking for a visionary leader who can set ambitious targets, motivate the team to exceed them, and develop strategies that enhance our competitive edge in the market. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with exceptional negotiation skills, a proven track record of consistently meeting or surpassing targets, and the ability to inspire the same level of dedication and success in others.
He/she should be adept at using data-driven insights to make decisions, identify market trends, and adjust strategies on the fly to capture new opportunities where the National Lottery Products can be distributed.
We are looking for someone who can lead by example, mentoring and developing a team to achieve their full potential while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Qualification, knowledge and skills required
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Proven track record in managing the full sales process, from planning to closing, with added experiences in Lottery/Gaming and FMCG analytics.
• Strong knowledge of sales trends, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and excellent communication, planning, and leadership abilities.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, with expertise in sales analytics and managing the sales process from planning to closing.
• Strong analytical sales and negotiation skills, with excellent time management, business acumen, and leadership abilities. Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
