Summary:

An experienced professional needed to strengthen business in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan by developing a customer base, implementing business strategy, and achieving business targets.


Tasks:

  • Identify new sales prospects and develop strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
  • Provide technical advice to customers in the market territory.
  • Develop in-house and external specialists, customize concepts, and ensure effective project and quotation preparation.
  • Expand market presence in the assigned region.
  • Understand customer needs and analyze demand for offerings/solutions.
  • Implement strategic market initiatives, proactively sell retrofits, and develop market segments related to standard plant solutions.
  • Build strong stakeholder management at all levels and implement Key Account Management.
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns and queries.
  • Ensure client data in CRM is up to date.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management.
  • Higher technical education with further training in Sales is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in a similar industry.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good research and analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Organizational skills, including effective time and priority management.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
