Summary:
An experienced professional needed to strengthen business in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan by developing a customer base, implementing business strategy, and achieving business targets.
Tasks:
- Identify new sales prospects and develop strong relationships with existing customers.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
- Provide technical advice to customers in the market territory.
- Develop in-house and external specialists, customize concepts, and ensure effective project and quotation preparation.
- Expand market presence in the assigned region.
- Understand customer needs and analyze demand for offerings/solutions.
- Implement strategic market initiatives, proactively sell retrofits, and develop market segments related to standard plant solutions.
- Build strong stakeholder management at all levels and implement Key Account Management.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns and queries.
- Ensure client data in CRM is up to date.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management.
- Higher technical education with further training in Sales is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in a similar industry.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good research and analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
- Organizational skills, including effective time and priority management.
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Strong decision-making skills.
