Job Title: Sales Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

We are looking for a self-motivated and high-performing Sales Manager who is passionate about sales and has the capacity to motivate a sales team in a challenging business environment to achieve ambitious business targets. The position reports to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and aggressive execution of department strategic plans and budget.
  • Monthly/quarterly business review to ensure all plans are on course.
  • Setting KPIs for the sales team
  • Recruit, train and coach sales reps and to ensure they are adequately equipped with the right skills
  • Develop customer service charter and implement a robust customer experience program to achieve a customer centric team.
  • Develop collaborative and strong partnerships with key customers
  • Fully utilize sales analytics to monitor performance and drive growth
  • Implement a strong culture of pipeline generation and management
  • Conduct market surveys for customer feedback
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annualsalesreports

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate level university education with relevant post graduate training in sales and marketing
  • At least seven years’ experience in sales, three of which as sales and /or marketing manager
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and/or construction industry would be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated success in molding sales teams to achieved desired results
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
