We are the authorized Distributor and franchise holder of the following equipment in Uganda.

Komatsu – Earth moving equipment

Sandvik - Rock drilling, mining and quarry

Dynapac – Compacting equipment

Tadano - Cranes

Tempest – Generators

Victoria Equipment Limited (VEQ) is the construction equipment arm of the General Machinery group of Companies founded in 1981.

The Position

We are seeking to recruit a self-driven professional in Victoria Equipment Limited as a Sales Executive with an Engineering (Auto/Mechanical) background, who is responsible, results oriented, has the agility and flexibility, to drive sales, can work under pressure to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities and increase sales through marketing of the above products.
  • Execute business development plans that result in near and long term revenue growth for the company with emphasis on parts.
  • Achieve current year sales and Revenue Targets.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Develop relationships and sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
  • Drive alignment with the franchise partners while enhancing company deliverables to meet or exceed established franchise partner goals.
  • Improve and maintain brand visibility and positioning in the market for effective customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities, customer needs and keep up to date with the market trends.
  • Prepare necessary documentation in response to bids and tenders
  • Ensure that orders are processed, invoiced and delivered within the agreed timelines.
  • Provide support in revenue collection by following up on invoices issued to customers.
  • Liaise with stores department to stay informed on availability of parts and equipment
  • Follow-up customers’ feedback and channel it to relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and provide reports to Sales Coordinators on all activities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Auto engineering, Commerce, Marketing, Economics & Development Economics, Business studies, International Business, Sales & Marketing.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 years related experience in a similar Position.
