Job Description

Our client provides a reliable payment processing services provider that supports instant payment processing using mobile money, mobile banking, debit and credit cards. They are also active in  Kenya(Operations) and Tanzania with our pan African expansion into Ethiopia and Togo in the CFA region underway. We are currently headquartered in Port Louis, Mauritius.

The system incorporates the ability to interface with MTN, Airtel, M-PESA, Tigo, Money mobile payments, the direct bank debit systems, as well as VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay acquiring solutions. We are able to offer you multiple payment receipt options both online as well as within your business premises that are can be mixed and matched to suit your individual needs.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Builds business by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients

• Recruit at least 10 good quality merchants with high transaction capacity every week;

• Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with the directors.

• Manages personnel and develops sales and sales support staff.

• Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.

• Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all the company’s products that you handle.

• Provides quarterly results assessments of your sales and productivity.

• Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

• Formulate sales policies, practices and procedures in conjunction with the directors.

• Collaborate with directors to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines that you are responsible for.

• Interpret short- and long-term effects of sales strategies on operating profit.

• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements

• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services

• Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations

• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

• Among other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in marketing, sales, or business administration preferred

• At least five (5) years of industry sales experience

• Strategic leadership ability

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role

• Proficiency in English

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

• Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus

• Can work under minimal supervision.
