Sales Director – EMEA (Non-Automotive Markets)
A leading semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in China is establishing a new subsidiary in Germany to strengthen its presence across the EMEA region. As part of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive growth in non-automotive markets, with a focus on industrial, telecom, consumer, and distribution channel development.
This is a senior commercial role offering significant responsibility and visibility, reporting directly to the Global Sales Director in USA. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s market position and building long-term customer and partner relationships as the European business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development activities with non-automotive customers in EMEA, focusing on industrial, telecom, and consumer sectors
- Develop and manage distribution channel strategies to expand market reach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including multinational companies and tier-one customers
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, negotiating agreements, and delivering on sales targets
- Collaborate with global teams to align regional strategies with overall company objectives
- Provide market feedback and insight to support product positioning and strategic decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience within the semiconductor industry
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in EMEA markets
- Preferably, established connections with customers such as Procter & Gamble, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Nokia, Ericsson, and others
- Experience working with and managing distribution channels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (other European languages an advantage)
- Location in Germany is preferred, though other EMEA locations will be considered for the right candidate
