Description
JOB DETAILS:
The Sales Associate would be responsible for recruiting and onboarding reputable organisations in Uganda to use our Sage products and services mainly to employees in the organisations.
This will include client identification, sales pitches/presentations, and supporting the customer onboarding processes.
This role will help grow our presence in Uganda and will be based in Kampala.
Travel to other parts of the country may be required from time to time.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Generate and pursue leads for all products and services offered by Sage.
• Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
• Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
• Share a daily progress report with your supervisor highlighting opportunities, comprehensive updates on customers handled by you and any challenges encountered.
• Achieving the set Monthly and Quarterly sales targets.
• Setting up meetings with potential clients, sharing proposals and following up until order conversion.
• Supporting in the execution of activations and presentations when required to do.
• Executing door to door, agent partnership, and referral-based sales channels within the assigned territory/region.
• Support & engage in the onboarding process of newly acquired customers.
Academic Qualification & Experiences
• Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Ability to tap into local Organisation networks and and maintain lasting relationships.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, strong organization and attention to detail.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning, feedback and continuous improvement.
