Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Specialist will drive business growth by developing new client relationships, managing key accounts, and executing strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the textiles/garments market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and digital marketing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with buyers, retailers, distributors, and brands.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report on performance metrics.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to network and promote products.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, social media, email marketing, PPC).
- Manage the company’s online presence (website, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
- Create compelling content (product catalogs, brochures, blogs) to showcase textiles/garments.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
- Coordinate with influencers or PR agencies to enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies for maximum ROI.
- Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and partners to optimize marketing efforts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and marketing, preferably within the textile, beverage, food, or FMCG) industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, distribution channels, and marketing strategies within the beverage industry.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and other partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and CRM software.
- Ability to travel as required for sales meetings, conferences, and events.
- Ability to develop long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Capable of managing and mentoring a high-performing team.
- Ability to analyze sales trends and marketing metrics to optimize performance.
- Expertise in negotiating contracts and deals with clients and partners.
- Ability to think outside the box in developing campaigns and promotional strategies.
