Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing & Sales Officer with proven experience in the tourism sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting Nexus Trek Africa’s packages, driving sales, building strong client relationships, and positioning the brand as a leader in socially impactful travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to attract both local and international clients.
  • Design and execute campaigns across digital platforms (social media, website, email marketing).
  • Build and maintain partnerships with tour operators, hotels, and travel agencies.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through innovative approaches.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends in the tourism sector.
  • Represent the company at tourism fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Prepare periodic sales and marketing reports for management.

Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tourism marketing and sales.
    • Strong knowledge of Uganda’s tourism industry and international travel trends. Experience in the tourism industry is an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media management.
    • Ability to work independently, creatively, and under pressure to meet targets.
