Position: Sales and Marketing Manager 

Reports to: Head of Sales and Marketing Department 

Supervise: Sales Representatives

Job Purpose 

The Sales and Marketing Manager at will work closely with the head of the department in the implementation of strategies, team management, and development aimed at business growth and expansion.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Work with the head of the department to formulate strategies, set goals, and plan for the business and revenue growth in line with the company's growth and expansion strategy.
  • Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives in a phased manner informed by market data.
  • Identify and convert new business leads into sales.
  • Set the team sales target, implement, monitor, evaluate and review revenue performance.
  • Conduct routine business analysis, identify gaps and derive solutions to overcome market gaps.
  • Supervise and equip the sales and marketing team with the proper product knowledge through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Prepare a daily, weekly, and monthly revenue tracker and report on business performance.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with potential, new, and existing, customers/clients.
  • Perform other duties and may be assigned by the line manager.

Person Specification/Requirements 

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or any other business-related qualification from a recognized academic institution.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Sales and marketing preferably from FinTech.
  • Good analytical and problem abilities.
  • Agile and flexible in field sales.
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong excel knowledge.
  • Dependable
  • Good business acumen
  • A self-starter
