Company Overview: Zuka Country Outdoors is a premier country outdoor garden and restaurant destination located in a serene countryside environment 5 kms from Gayaza town. We offer a unique dining and events experience, featuring beautifully landscaped gardens, a charming restaurant, and versatile event spaces for weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations.
Job Purpose: To promote and grow brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and increase revenue by promoting the unique dining and event experience at Zuka Country Outdoors. This position focuses on enhancing awareness of the unique rustic and nature-inspired setting, attracting a diverse clientele, and maximizing booking for both dining and events. The executive will develop and execute marketing campaigns, manage social media presence, and foster relationships to position the venue as a premier destination for outdoor dining and special events including corporate gatherings, weddings, festivals, and private events.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy: - Develop, implement and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy that highlight the venue's unique dining and event experience featuring beautifully landscaped gardens, a charming restaurant, and versatile event spaces for weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations. You will need to utilize a mix of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, local advertising, and public relations to reach targetaudiences. The Executive will also be responsible for managing ZCO’s online presence, including developing and managing content on website, social media channels, and online reviews to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Sales and Revenue growth: Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts but most importantly, convert majority of them into bookings for both restaurant dining and private events, such as weddings, corporate events, and parties.The Sales and Marketing Executive will also develop sales pitches and presentations tailored to potential clients and event planners, highlighting the venue’s unique offerings and value.
Event Promotion and Coordination: Work with the Hospitality and Event team to promote and coordinate special events, themed dinners, and other unique experiences at the ZCO, such as farm-to-table dinners, local food festivals, e.t.c.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor activity to ensure our marketing efforts are impactful and relevant as well as identifying opportunities for growth and differentiation. You will also need to gather and analyze customer feedback and prepare monthly reports on sales performance, market insights, and customer trends for management including proposals on how to improve service offerings and marketing efforts.
Brand Management and Content creation: Ensure that all marketing materials and communication are on-brand, visually appealing, and reflective of the ZCO’s rustic, nature-inspired image. You will also be responsible for producing high-quality visuals and written content, including brochures, online ads, videos, and press releases, that communicate ZCO’s unique offerings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality, event management, or related field
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Creative mindset and strategic thinker with a passion for outdoor events, exceptional customer service and ability to identify new marketing opportunities
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in using analytics tools, CRM software, and design software (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
