We are looking for motivated and self-driven field sales agents from different parts of Uganda to support the growth of a new digital business service.

The role involves identifying small and medium businesses, speaking with business owners or managers, explaining the benefits of using digital tools to improve visibility and customer engagement, and helping interested clients complete a simple activation process.

This opportunity is suitable for individuals who are confident, outgoing, and willing to grow in sales, marketing, and business development. Agents can work from any part of the country, provided they are able to reach and communicate with businesses in their area.

Responsibilities or duties

• Identify suitable small and medium businesses within your area.
• Visit or contact business owners and explain the opportunity clearly and professionally.
• Collect basic business details from interested clients.
• Guide interested clients through the setup and activation process.
• Take note of client questions, concerns and feedback.
• Keep clear records of business contacted and activated.
• Represent the project profesionally and honestly at all times.
• Report daily or weekly progress to the team.

Qualifications or requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to approach and speak with business owners.
• Ability to explain ideas in a simple and convincing way.
• Basic smartphone and internet knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Honest, organized and result-oriented.
• Good knowledge of your local area is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, promotions, customer service, or field work is an added advantage.
• Must have access to a smartphone and reliable communication.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Minimum qualification: UCE/S.4 certificate or equivalent.
• S.6 leavers, certificate holders, diploma holders, university students, graduates and interns are encouraged to apply.
• Prior sales or marketing experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
