About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Agent Representative to join our client in Uganda.
The sales agent will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients Including contractors, architects, retailers) and promoting our diverse portfolio of flooring products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the flooring construction industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospect and Lead Generation: identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals.
- Product Knowledge and Presentations: Expertly present and demonstrate flooring products, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and customer preferences pricing and terms to close deals effectively.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales
- Preferably within the flooring industry or sectors such as building materials or medical equipment
Required Skills & Qualities
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and virtual meeting platforms
- Self-driven and results-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)
Languages
- English – Fluent (required)
