Job specification

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads and build relationships with customers
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
  • Negotiate sales agreements and close deals

Candidate specification

Educational requirements

Work experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of sales experience in product sales
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards
  • Confident and charismatic approach to people

Critical skills required

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
